Amazing Drive – Great2b Racers!

On 18^th March 2012 (Sunday), it’s an amazing day for all participants in the Amazing Drive game organized by Farlim Toastmasters Club. Amazing Drive – it is a game like the reality television game show “The Amazing Race”. The difference between both is, our game is just racing around Penang Island with car compared to “The Amazing Race” where the participants have to race around the world with all types of possible transportation. What Does Christmas Mean To Me?

What does Christmas mean to me? An annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ? Honestly, I never thought of that purpose during the Christmas in the past too. (FYI, I am a Buddhist.) I believe most of the people have also forgotten about the true meaning of Christmas, unless you are a Christian. Most of the people would normally think about Santa Claus, receiving present, decoration of Christmas tree…that’s is pretty normal. For the past, Christmas Day simply means another holiday to me. I am sure everyone loves holidays.

Yesterday night, I participated in a pre-celebration of Christmas with my colleagues at Redbox karaoke entertainment centre. Below was the present I received – a set of Skin Food brand body and hair care product.

My Crazy History

Last weekend, I went back to my hometown, Ipoh. I took out one of the old photo albums from the cupboard at my Ipoh’s house by whim. All these old photos made me immersing into my crazy history – my college time. When I flipped through the photo album, I was amazed with my ‘past and crazy’ passion to create all these works in the college which I think I may not be able to do now.

There are five types of things we have to confront in our daily life.

The first type of thing is what we love to do and we will feel worthwhile to do so. Performing this type of thing doesn’t cost us a lot. For example, sleeping, which is a low investment pleasure we can create for ourselves. The second type of thing is something we love or desire to do but we may not afford to do so, or may not afford to do it so frequently. For example, almost everyone loves travelling, but not everyone can afford to go travelling every month.
